Renowned crypto specialist Del Crxpto has voiced his worries regarding the public's lack of comprehension of the amount of Shiba Inu (SHIB) that will undergo burning on Shibarium, which is the digital currency's layer-2 scaling solution.

Whilst referring to his previous tweet regarding the burn of SHIB on Shibarium, the renowned cryptocurrency specialist disclosed that there is an increasing confusion regarding the functioning of Shibarium.

According to the pro-SHIB specialist, those urging the Shiba Inu team to raise transaction fees in Shibarium are not well-informed about the issue of blockchain congestion.

A number of Shiba Inu enthusiasts have expressed their dissatisfaction with the proposed transaction fee of Shibarium. In a previous statement, Ringoshi Tōitsu, who is a validator and operator of the Unification fund, highlighted that the average transaction fee on Shibarium will be $0.02.

Moreover, Tōitsu stated that the transaction fee for Shibarium would be similar to that of Polygon.

When Tōitsu tweeted, they mentioned that Shibarium's gas fees for 70 transactions could be covered by just 1 BONE token.

The Shiba Inu team has introduced a low fee to increase the adoption of Shibarium. However, some SHIB supporters have expressed their disappointment with this move. The team had previously stated that a portion of the network's fees would be used to burn SHIB, as mentioned in the Shibarium document from March.

Shibarium will divide its network fee into two parts, namely the base fee and priority fee. According to the documentation of Shibarium, 70% of the base fee will be utilized to purchase SHIB tokens and burn them.

In contrast, the remaining 30% of funds will be allocated towards covering the expenses of operating and maintaining the network. As a result, the price of SHIB is anticipated to experience a positive impact over the long run.

There are concerns among enthusiasts that Shibarium may not be able to burn enough SHIB to increase the token's value, despite offering an average transaction cost of $0.02.

As the release of Shibarium's mainnet approaches, the community eagerly awaits its arrival. The lead developer of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, has confirmed that the mainnet will be launched during the upcoming Blockchain Futuristic Conference in August.

It is noteworthy that the beta testnet of Shibarium has been widely adopted before the launch of its mainnet. Recently, the Shibarium beta testnet achieved a significant milestone of 31 million transactions, which included transfers and token swaps.
